This year, a special event took place at the 81st Venice Film Festival La Biennale di Venezia – Ukrainian Day. This is a unique opportunity for the international community to explore the current state of the Ukrainian film industry, to discover the possibilities of co-production and to discuss the prospects of future cooperation with Ukraine.
Ukrainian Day served not only as a platform for dialogue but also as a space for exchanging ideas, forging partnerships, and exploring new avenues for the development of the film industry in Ukraine.

- Pascal Diot – Head of the Venice Production Bridge.
- Yuliya Shevchuk – Acting Head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
- Representative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy.
- Mstyslav Chernov – Ukrainian correspondent, director, and photographer, Oscar and BAFTA winner in 2024 for the documentary “20 Days in Mariupol.”
- Kateryna Gaiduk – Head of Distribution at UP HUB.
- Taras Bosak – Executive Producer of the National Cinematheque of Ukraine.
- Dmytro Sukhanov – Producer of the film “Honeymoon” in the Biennale College Cinema section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
- Andriy Nogin – Producer, Head of the NGO “UKRKINOFEST.”
Event Moderator: Maria Galuppo – Activist and volunteer who actively supports Ukraine and its cultural initiatives on the international stage.
